Blue Rock has been a supporter of the Gideon International Ministry for many years and presently two couples from the church are active members. The Gideon’s International is an association of Christian business and professional men and their wives, who are dedicated to reaching the lost for Christ. Gideon International is known for placing Bibles in hotel/motel rooms for over 100 years but they also place and distribute testaments to school students, college student, in medical facilities and prisons, emergency and service personnel, and also give testaments as they witness to individuals. There are Gideon members in nearly all countries of the world. Gideon’s partner with local churches to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ across the boundaries of culture and language throughout local communities of the world.
